SUNFLOWER MICROGREENS: Nature's Cough Remedy

SUNFLOWER MICROGREENS: Nature's Cough Remedy

Sunflower Microgreens are a little known superfood. They're grown using regular sunflower seeds, in as little as 7 days! In this nascent stage, they're incredibly dense in nutrition, and are best eaten soon after harvest.

They are crunchy, and taste nutty and slightly sweet. Some even say it pairs well with a peanut butter & jelly sandwich! This incredibly versatile microgreen can be eaten in many ways, ranging from salads, smoothies, wraps, to just snacking on it, as is.

They're so good, that we recommend using them to introduce children and fussy eaters to greens!

This superfood is essential for fighting infection, and strengthening the body’s immunity. You may be amazed at some of the benefits of consuming these mighty greens.

NATURAL DECONGESTANT

According to ancient Ayurveda, sunflower microgreens are a natural cough medicine, that encourage clearance of the lungs, and expulsion of mucus. These can be eaten as a preventative measure against lower respiratory infections, to deter invasion of pathogens.

COMPLETE PLANT PROTEIN

Sunflower greens are a great source of calcium and iron, and are a complete plant protein. In fact, they are considered to be the most balanced of all of the sources of essential amino acids, helping to repair muscle tissue and aid in enzymatic functions in the body. Adding them to your protein smoothie boosts post workout recovery in a big way. A cup of microgreens contains 20 grams of protein!

ACTIVATE IMMUNE SYSTEM

They activate every cell of the immune system and help to keep gut bacteria healthy, improving our ability to fight disease.

BOOST FERTILITY

These contain high amounts of zinc, and as a result, boost fertility. Zinc is a well-researched mineral that is essential for the development of sperm.
