Arugula Microgreens


Arugula is a peppery, distinctive-tasting green that originated in the Mediterranean region. It’s also known as rucola, salad rocket, and Italian cress. 

BENEFITS: This superfood is high in calcium, which is necessary for bone health; potassium, a mineral and an electrolyte that’s vital for heart and nerve function. It is high in folate, a B vitamin that is a must have for pregnant women; vitamins A, a powerful anti oxidant; vitamin C, that helps support the immune system; and vitamin K.

TASTE: strong, spicy, peppery flavor

BEST IN: Arugula is delicious raw, and it can be used as a healthy add-on topping for pizza, nachos, sandwiches, and wraps.

It can be served as a side salad with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, salt, & pepper.

Arugula’s taste compliments citrus fruits and berry salads.

It can be used as an alternative to basil to make hot or cold pesto.

HOW WE GROW THEM: Grown using organic seeds, & organic natural fertilizer. Watered using filtered, pH balanced water.
